"Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done." (Psalm 105:1) Yes, we want to proclaim God's greatness and let you know what He has done in Mexico. Here are their testimonies: Salvador y Olga Gómez (North Mexico City) Last November 12th, we had a party for our 7th anniversary at out Christian Center for the Deaf. Two Deaf people became saved and received the Bible CDs. Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to share one good testimony - Julian Malluguiza from Spain and married to a Mexican lady and received Jesus Christ as his Savior. One day Julian and I went shopping and after walking outside the store, suddenly someone stole Julian's backpack in his car that contained his important papers and passport. We had prayed to God for a few days. Four days later, Julian's passport was found and given back to him. We thank the Lord for answering our prayers. We want to thank you for your support in finances and prayers. God bless you! Teresa Melgar (Cuernavaca & Xoxocotla) Thank God for allowing us to continue in His wonderful work with the Deaf and thanks to the support we receive from you we can move forward. It is a blessing. We continue instructing the Word of the Lord a group of Deaf People in a town. Glory to God that this group has grown, adults, young people and children attend, and even in young children's hearts God has placed a great interest in knowing His Word. There is a group of people with many economic needs and God directs us to look at their spiritual needs but also their physical. Therefore, they are trained to perform some employment and thus have a better quality of life. God is good and has kept this group of Deaf people firm. The love and blessing of God are with us. We love him, because he loved us first (1 John 4:19) Mario y Yanet (Jojutla & Toluca) On January 28 this year, we had a party for our 7th anniversary at the Strong Torre Deaf church. Actually we have been preaching and teaching the Word of God to Deaf people, hopping from one church to another here in Jojutla for 20 years. Last November, 5 Deaf people were baptized in water. Glory to God! I want to share a testimony - an 18 year old Deaf lady named Jazmin who was pregnant was baptized in water last fall, she then went crazy and had emotions. Her parent wanted her to have her baby aborted. We prayed and prayed for God's deliverance for Jazmin. Now she was healed and became normal for three months, and now she and her new coming baby are healthy. It was God's miracle. Praise the Lord. We still preach God's Word to the Deaf people in Toluca once every month. Please pray that God will send a pastor in Toluca so that the Deaf people can go to church weekly instead of once a month. Thank you. Gehm's Note: Mario and Yanet In Jojutla, the Deaf people had been jumping from one church to another because the hearing people bumped them. Mario and Yanet are asking us to help them by giving them some money to build a small church next to their house. Please pray for them and that if it is God's will. Thank you. Teresa Melgar Teresa just had a hysterectomy surgery on February 1st this year. We helped pay for the surgery because she didn't have any insurance. As of updated result, she is doing well now. Thanks to the Lord for healing her. Teresa wanted to thank you for your financial support. We wish to express our thanks to you for your faithfulness in financial supports and prayers. Without your supports, their ministry would be stopped. We are so thankful to the Lord for those Mexican leaders who diligently witness to the Deaf people and children about Jesus Christ and teach them the Word of God. God's love motivates them as they desire their families and friends to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. "So faith comes from hearing the Good News, and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ." (Romans 10:17). Also, please continue to pray for Pastor Asael of Mexico City (South) and Pastor Carlos of Ensenada. They both are well and constantly ministering to the Deaf people. God bless you!
