Linda's Ministry in Baja Calif., Mexico, March 2016

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ and our Lord!

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12) This is what I (Linda) taught at the Deaf Christian Women’s Retreat in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico last March 4 through 6, 2016. The 13 deaf ladies had learned that Jesus is the true light, and he removes darkness and deception by illuminating the right way to God and salvation. Besides me, my dear deaf friend named Teresa Martinez from Mexico City was also the guest speaker. During the retreat week, Teresa and I along with our amazing hearing friends, Alisha and Katy taught, gave counsel, and encouraged the deaf ladies and worshiped and prayed with them as well. We all had a good time watching the movie “War Room”, having crafts, hiking, and fellowshipping.

At the end of the retreat week, the 3 deaf ladies became saved by accepting Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. And, the other 4 deaf ladies had decided to repent and turned back to God. Glory to God!

Teresa Martinez did an amazing job teaching God’s Word. Since many years ago, Eugene and I led her to Jesus Christ in Mexico City, I could see her growing in the Lord and her strong love for Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

Thanks be to the Lord for Alisha and Katy who did a wonderful job to make the retreat successful. The Deaf ladies and I enjoyed every moment at the retreat. Bless them! You can look more pictures on our website: http://gehm-mexdeafmissions.webs.com.

The next day on Monday, we went to the Rancho Sordo Mudo (RSM) in Valle de Gaudalupe, about 30 minutes from Ensenada. We taught and performed some dramas to the 7 deaf girls. They enjoyed learning the Word of God and God’s love. Then, all the girls joined us to pray together. They made me cry because they were like little precious angels. Later that evening we played some games and laughed with the boys and girls.

We wish to thank you for your faithfulness in financial supports and prayers. You are our partners by maintaining God’s work in Mexico because of your love for them. Please do continue to pray. God bless you.

Continuing in His Service,

Eugene & Linda
