Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord!

God had given me (Linda) the privilege of ministry at the Rancho Sordo Mudo school in Valle de Gaudalupe and at Deaf church in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico last October 22the through 28th, 2015. I was accompanied by my sister in Christ, Melinda Moore-Reins of Riverside, California. I am excited to share with you what an amazing God did through us. (See Photo Gallery)

First, Melinda and I stayed two nights at the Rancho Sordo Mudo school. One morning before school classes started, she taught and performed a skit about the story of Daniel to the Deaf girls at the chapel. We helped a deaf teacher, Yazmie, teach in her elementary class. After school, since Melinda is a retired school teacher, she taught the teachers (two hearing Americans and one deaf Mexican) how to teach the deaf students and enabled them to have a greater understanding of how to meet the needs of deaf children, etc.

On Saturday, we moved on to Ensenada to stay two nights at an apartment of one missionary named Alisha. Later in the afternoon at Deaf church, I taught the ladies about being rooted in the Lord, and then, we planted flower seeds in the plastic cups to help us remember what we learned that day. On Sunday at Deaf church, I preached about the salvation, and Melinda and I also shared our testimonies about how we became Christians. After the service, we ministered to the Deaf people who came to us for some counsels and prayers. God is so good!

Lastly, we moved to stay at the very much hotel in the center of Ensenada for three nights. On Wednesday, we visited and encouraged the teachers and the deaf students at other Deaf school in Ensenada. Also, we visited the Mexican Sign Language class in which Pastor Carlos taught the parents of the deaf children.

During our spare days, we went with Alisha and her friend to watch the water blowholes in Bufadora, about an hour south from Ensenada, and it was so beautiful. Other time Melinda swam both in the pool at our hotel and the beach while I took pictures. (The water was too cold for me to swim .) We enjoyed sightseeing on the Pacific Ocean boarddwalk and the Mexican markets, too.

Melinda and I gave our thanks to the Lord for His protection when Melinda drove her nice Jeep to and from the Rancho Sordo Mudo school and Ensenada. We were so grateful that we had the opportunity to minister to the teachers, students, missionaries and friends by sharing God’s Love.

Eugene and I want to thank you for your financial supports and prayers. “He will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely. And your giving through us will cause many to give thanks to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11 (New Century Version). Your financial supports help Pastor Carlos and the missionary Alisha continue to minister to the Deafs in Ensenada. Most importantly, your prayers are very much appreciated. God bless you!

Please remember Pastor Salvador and Pastor Asael of Mexico City, a leader Teresa of Cuernavaca, and the leaders Maro & Yanet of Jojutla in your prayers. Thank you so much!

We love you in Christ.

Eugene & Linda
